The Davis Farmers Market is the focus of the new movie “Farmers’ Markets: Love at First Bite.” The clip — and the movie — explore why people support such markets, the social interaction they provide, their economic impact, and their simple, bottom-line fun for everyone.

Take a visual ride through the U.S. Bicycling Hall of Fame in Davis, CA. This three-story museum is full of historic bikes, memorabilia from a century of collections, and tributes to America’s greatest cycling athletes.

The LiveStrong Challenge / Davis bicycle ride, sponsored by the Lance Armstrong Foundation, took place July 2011. More than 1,400 riders took part, raising nearly $1 million to combat cancer. Take a look at some highlights and visit with some survivors.
